1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern the automated communications, scrap vehicle quote alerts, and customer service messaging provided by ASR AUTOBREAKERS LTD via the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API.

2. Customer Consent for Transactional Messaging

By requesting a scrap car valuation, submitting a recovery request, or initiating contact through our website:

Transactional Purpose: You authorize ASR AUTOBREAKERS LTD to transmit your valuation calculation, collection schedule updates, and logistical confirmations to the WhatsApp number you provided.
Non-Promotional: Messages sent via the WhatsApp Cloud API are strictly transactional and operational. We do not broadcast unsolicited third-party marketing or advertising.
Frequency: Messages are sent only in direct response to your user-initiated quote or service request.

3. Opt-Out & STOP Mechanism

You may revoke consent and cease receiving automated WhatsApp messages at any time:

Reply STOP directly to any incoming WhatsApp notification to immediately unsubscribe.

4. Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 & Statutory Compliance

Vehicle purchases facilitated via WhatsApp quote confirmations remain strictly subject to UK legislation:

Identification Requirement: Photo ID (valid UK driving licence or passport) and V5C logbook are mandatory at vehicle handover.
No Cash Law: Cash payment is strictly prohibited under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013. All payments are made via instant Faster Payments electronic bank transfer.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
