Our Story & Recycling Commitment

ASR AUTOBREAKERS LTD was established to provide the motorist and trade community of Peterborough and the East of England with a professional, legally compliant, and customer-first vehicle recycling facility.

Operating from our specialized Authorized Treatment Facility (ATF) at UNIT B1, FIRST DROVE, FENGATE, PETERBOROUGH, PE1 5BJ, we dismantle hundreds of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) annually. We ensure up to 95% of each vehicle's materials are recycled or reclaimed for reuse, minimizing landfill impact and reducing the carbon footprint of automotive manufacturing.

Licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF)

Scrapping a car in the UK requires strict adherence to the Scrap Metal Dealers Act and Environmental Permitting Regulations. ASR Autobreakers is fully licensed by the Environment Agency and local authorities. Every vehicle we purchase is:

• Depolluted of all oils, fuels, coolants, and refrigerants using sealed extraction stations.
• Stripped for reusable OEM parts to keep existing cars on the road affordably.
• Electronically notified to the DVLA with a definitive Certificate of Destruction (CoD).
